What does accredited Living Wage employer status mean?

  • The real Living Wage is a minimum hourly rate reviewed annually and there is a rate for working inside and outside of London. By paying this as a minimum, employers are voluntarily ensuring their employees earn a wage that is enough to live on.
  • Living Wage employers must pay the real Living Wage to all directly employed staff and provide a commitment that third party contracts will be renewed at the Living Wage.
